Updated Article:

Blacklist International is the representative for the Philippines in the upcoming 31st SEA Games for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). The team is making a few adjustments for its Sibol lineup's scrim sessions due to the unavailability of its roamer, Salic “Hadji” Alauya Imam. The team’s head coach, Kristoffer “BON CHAN” Ricaplaza made a post on Facebook, seeking potential players to serve as a substitute so that the team can start doing scrimmages. According to BON CHAN, Hadji has decided to focus on the MLBB Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 9. The head coach also stated that he prefers to recruit amateur players who are active within amateur MLBB esports events.

Hadji to focus on the MPL PH Season 9

Through a Facebook post, BON CHAN announced that the team is in need of a sixth man who can fill in the spot for its roamer, Hadji, for the team's scrimmages and rank games. The Blacklist International coach posted a set of requirements for players who are interested in joining the team for the upcoming 31st SEA Games.

The requirements are as follows;

  • Position four or five

  • Preferable if the player can handle both positions

  • Grinding hard in ranked games this season

  • Plenty of achievements in amateur MLBB tournaments

  • Must be 18 years old and above

According to BON CHAN, the reason why Hadji won’t be able to participate in team practices is because the pro player shall be prioritizing the upcoming MPL PH Season 9 as he shall be serving as the team’s captain for the upcoming season.

Veteran pro players respond to BON CHAN’s post

Prominent pro players in the Philippines MLBB esports scene such as Carlito “Ribo” Ribo, Jr. and Allen Jedric “Baloyskie” Baloy have commented on BON CHAN’s post, showcasing their interest in joining the team as the sixth man for scrimmages. However, it is still not confirmed whether the head coach shall accept these pro players or continue to seek amateur players.

While these changes may seem very sudden, Blacklist International’s head coach has proven time and again that the team is more than capable of swiftly building its team chemistry, as shown with its two rookies Dominic "Dominic" Soto and Lee Howard "Owl" Gonzales who joined the Sibol lineup for the upcoming 31st SEA Games.
