Gods Reign is one of the veteran esports organizations in India. It has rosters in multiple gaming titles such as Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), Valorant, Counter Strike, Pokemon Unite, Players Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile New State and FIFAe.

In a recent development KR Rohith, the CEO of Gods Reign, revealed some details regarding player poaching. He refrained from taking any names but revealed that an esports organization has registered a player on their team from Gods Reigns’ BGMI roster.

In a recent post made on X (formerly known as Twitter), KR Rohith revealed that an esports organization has already registered a player on their team from Gods Reigns’ BGMI roster. He wrote, “WELL GUESS WHAT? The TO says we need to get in touch with this ORG, apparently they've already listed OUR player in their roster for BMPS. Now isn't that a spicy piece of news, especially when neither us nor our player got the memo! Esport Contracts are a joke.”

According to the post the organization has registered a player from Gods Reign's roster for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 event. He also went on to add that neither the player nor the organization were aware of this situation.

This is not the first time such an incident has happened as a couple of days ago Revenant Esports Owner and CEO, Rohit Jagasia had revealed on X that a player from his team had also been approached by another organization after the completion of the Skyespoyrts Championship 5.0 and Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle 2023 LAN events in Bangalore.

In recent times, Gods Reign has been one of the most dominating teams in BGMI. It placed fifth in the Skyesports Championship 5.0 and Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 LAN events. But its major performance came in the India vs Korea BGMI Invitational LAN event where it placed second and dominated against the Korean teams.

Additional details of the situation are yet to be revealed and maybe we shall soon know more as the BMPS 2023 event is set to start in the third or fourth week of November.
