Team Godlike’s and Global Esports’ Round 3 performance

The star-studded lineup began their Round 3 campaign with a bang securing a 26 point chicken dinner in their opening game. Jonathan “Jonathan” Amaral, a well-known member of the team, picked up five eliminations and looked excellent in this match.

The side, however, committed a minor error in the second game and was eliminated by CS Esports with no points. In the third match it lost two of its players Suraj “Neyoo” Majumdar and Rudra “Spower”, the rest of the two players Jonathan and Abhishek “Zgod” Choudhary helped Team GodLike score 16 points. They had 42 points at the end of Day 1 and were second on the overall scoreboard.

GodLike Esports did not have a good start to the second day of the BGIS Round 3 as it made a mistake on the map of Vikendi and only got one point in its fourth game. The crew managed to defeat 1M Officials in an early fight in their penultimate encounter, but they did not survive for long and only scored five points.

GodLike Esports failed to deliver a much-needed performance in its final and most important game, accumulating only four points. In this battle, 1M Officials defeated Team GodLike.

Global Esports on the other hand has also been eliminated from BGIS 2023. The overall points and position of the team has not been revealed yet but it has been revealed that the team has been eliminated from the event.

Global Esports elimination from this event has been shocking to the fans as it dominated the recently concluded Battleground Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) 2023 Season 2. It was placed 4th in this event and impressed everyone with its aggressive gameplay.

The BGIS Quarterfinals has 64 slots and the top four teams from each group of Round 3 will proceed to the quarterfinals. The Losers Bracket will comprise of the teams ranked from 60th to 80th place in the online Qualifiers' total points table. Team Godlike finished seventh in its group, meaning it did not advance to the Quarterfinals and with only 52 points to its name its chances of reaching the Losers Bracket are also slim.
