GiLL Talks About VIRU, Mavi, and Scout in Recent Livestream
In a recent livestream, GodLike Esports' professional Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) player Arshpreet "GiLL" Singh opened up about his relationships with his former teammates Harmandeep "Mavi" Singh, Tanmay "Scout" Singh, and Viren "VIRU" Gour. Scout, Mavi, VIRU, and GiLL played together in the PUBG Mobile World League 2020: East under the banner of Orange Rock Esports, where they put forth an incredible performance and finished in second place. The roster established itself as one of the most promising rosters across the globe. Unfortunately, soon later, PUBG Mobile was banned in India. With the unavailability of the game, the players eventually parted ways with each other.
GiLL stated that he would not play alongside Mavi and Scout again if given the opportunity
After BGMI (the Indian variant of PUBG Mobile) was launched in the country, these players again joined forces to play under Scout's esports organization TeamXSpark to dominate the esports scene. However, due to differences between the players, GiLL and VIRU left TeamXSpark to join GodLike Esports in early 2022.
Apart from their differences, the team was one of the strongest BGMI teams in India. It attracted a massive fanbase. In a recent livestream, one of GiLL's viewers curiously asked him whether it is possible for him, Scout, and Mavi to play together if they ever get the opportunity. GiLL responded with a firm no, stating, "It won't happen from my end."
GiLL confirms that VIRU left GodLike Esports
Although VIRU joined GodLike Esports, it did not work well for him. In his new team, VIRU was an extra player. He did not get to play much and was benched for the most part of his tenure. Things were not going in the right direction for him, and he also spoke about it publicly. Following this, he was highly inactive on his social media handles. Being curious about VIRU's whereabouts, another viewer asked if he was on talking terms with VIRU, to which GiLL responded, "Yes, sometimes we do. But he has been inactive lately." When a viewer asked whether VIRU made a mistake by leaving TeamXSpark, GiLL avoided commenting on the matter and said, "It was VIRU's decision."
Lastly, responding to a question by a viewer, GiLL confirmed that VIRU had left GodLike Esports. "He left. He made the decision by himself and left. I can't do anything about it."
Currently, GiLL is playing for GodLike Esports. The organization currently boasts a six-player BGMI roster. GodLike Esports' Abhijeet Harishchandra "GHATAK" Andhare expressed frustration over the organization's BGMI roster not performing well and said he would bench a few players if necessary. It will be intriguing to see which players will represent the organization when the game returns, as well as which players will be benched.
