Geek Fam ID Teases Fans With Its New PH Imports

Geek Fam Indonesia’s (ID) potential roster was previously leaked featuring two pro players from the Philippines (PH). The recent post from the esports organization hint that the leaks may be true as the posts tease fans with the silhouette of a pro player that highly resembles former ONIC PH player Allen "Baloyskie" Baloy in the post’s video thumbnail. The video also contained various silhouettes which led fans to believe there may be more than one import added to the team roster. Geek Fam is yet to reveal the mysterious pro player it signed for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) ID Season 10.

Geek Fam teases fans with its new recruits possibly from the Philippines

Through an Instagram post, Geek Fam posted a teaser video with the caption “Something Big is coming… can you guess what it is?”

The video ends with a flag of the Philippines which further adds proof to the speculations that the team is acquiring pro players from the said region.

This quickly caught the attention of a lot of fans both from Indonesia and the Philippines. Some fans speculated that the pro players would be the three pro players Baloyskie, Jaylord "Hatred" Gonzales, and Gerald “Dlar” Trinchera. However, some also say that Jaymark "Janaaaqt" Aaron Lazaro (also known as Hadess) could also be a potential recruit.

According to the official rulebook of the MPL, “a team may not have more than 3 non-citizen players who are living in the country or region during the whole season. No more than 2 non-citizen players may be listed in the starting lineup of the Team.” This means that Geek Fam may be acquiring three players based on its teaser video. However, fans won’t know for sure until the full roster is announced.

Geek Fam is yet to officially announce its complete roster for the upcoming MPL ID Season 10. However, with the upcoming season on the horizon, fans can expect a roster reveal soon.
