Geek Fam welcomes another pro player from the Philippines (PH) as the second week of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Indonesia (ID) Season 10 approaches. The team has announced its acquisition of the former ECHO member Jaymark "Janaaqt" Lazaro (formerly known as Hadess). This acquisition was previously leaked through the team’s in-game squad members list. With the leaks confirmed, Janaaqt is the second Filipino pro player to have joined Geek Fam alongside the former ONIC PH star Allen "Baloyskie" Baloy. Fans may be seeing the team’s latest member debut in the second week of the MPL ID Season 10.
Hadess becomes Janaaqt under Geek Fam ID
It looks like Geek Fam has one more surprise for its fans as it welcomes a new member after the first week of the MPL ID Season 10. Through a YouTube video titled "The last Troops", the esports organization announced the arrival of Janaaqt, one of the most experienced MPL PH players.
MPL Indonesia also posted an infographic about the pro player’s achievements over the course of his career in the Philippines. Janaaqt boasts 575 total assists, 471 total kills, and an average KDA of 4.0, so far.
Geek Fam had an upsetting performance during the first week of the MPL ID Season 10. The team failed to secure a win in its two series against RRQ Hoshi and Alter Ego.
While Janaaqt is certainly a welcome addition to the team, his late arrival to the squad may pose a few challenges for the team. Issues such as language barriers and maybe even team chemistry may pose a threat to the team’s performance. Nevertheless, Janaaqt’s arrival to the team and how he performs with his new squad in the second week of MPL ID Season 10 shall be very interesting to see.
