Free Fire Max OB33 brings a lot of new changes to the game.
The new Character Link system and Credit system tackle some of the major issues with Garena's battle royale.

Garena Free Fire Max OB33 update has gone live and added a lot of new major features to the game. Along with a new credit system and an improved reporting system to combat toxicity, the new Character Link System has also been implemented. Free Fire Max also introduced a new character, introduced reworks to certain characters and balance changes to others. OB33 added another weapon to the gun collection, some weapon adjustments and other minor changes. This update is a huge one for Free Fire fans and includes a new way for players to unlock all Free Fire characters without diamonds. Here are all the changes in the Free Fire Max OB33 Patch Notes.

Free Fire Max OB33 Patch Notes: Ways to combat toxicity

Free Fire Max OB33 has added 2 new systems to the game.

Garena is introducing a Credit System that rewards players for good behavior and punishes players for going AFK, throwing games, verbal abuse and force quitting. Garena said "We have long believed that Survivors who give a helping hand and keep their attitudes positive should be recognized and honored, and rightfully so, those who flame and quit should be punished. We can proudly announce that our vision is now a reality."

Player accounts which have been reported for bad behavior will get a 1 to 4 point deduction. Players who regularly behave negatively will get extra deductions. Those players who score below 90 will get a ban from CS-Ranked and going below 80 will lead to a BR-Ranked ban.

Players who consistently behave well will earn 1 to 2 credit points per game and shall be able to unlock prizes.

Report System Improvements

The Free Fire Reporting System also has a few changes. You can now report another player in your match history page, or in CS mode scoreboards. Garena has also increased the list of reasons for your purpose of reporting. You will now be able to track your report progress as well. Players can now also report inappropriate voice chat calls. This feature is added to the current mute button.

These new systems will go live on 25th March, so players should expect another minor update.

Unlock All Free Fire Characters Through Garena’s New Link System For Free

The link system now lets players unlock all characters.

Free Fire is implementing a new Link System that allows you to unlock all Free Fire characters without diamonds. The new system allows players to ‘link’ themselves to a certain character. Players can obtain free Characters by playing games in any mode. Here is how you can use this system:

Step 1: Select a character to link with.

Step 2: Confirm that you want to link to the character.

Step 3: Complete the missions and fill the progress bar.

Step 4: Claim the Character once it is ready.

There's a limit to the LINK points players get per day. Note that all Characters prior to this patch update will be included in the LINK system.
