Garena to Remove Jai From Free Fire After July, Announces Farewell Event

Free Fire character Jai who is based on the Indian actor Hrithik Roshan will be removed the game after 31^st July 2021. The official announcement states that the character will be removed from the Garena Free Fire store at the end of this month, but players who already own the character can continue to use it normally. Jai is the first Indian playable character that was introduced to Free Fire and interested players can still purchase him before July end. Alternatively, players can simply try their luck during Jai's farewell event in Free Fire. The details about this upcoming event have not been revealed so far, though Garena has informed players that they stand a chance to get Jai for absolutely free.

Free Fire Character Jai to be Removed After July

Jai was introduced to Free Fire in September last year as part of "Be The Hero" campaign launched by Garena. The event was launched in collaboration with popular Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, which made him the first Indian character to feature in Garena Free Fire.

Jai is equipped with the 'Raging Reload' skill, which basically allows players to automatically reload their weapons up to 30% of its capacity after taking down an opponent. This reload capacity can go up to 45% as the skill is constantly upgraded and works with all Assault Rifles, Semi Machine Guns, Shotguns, and Pistols available in the game.

10 months since its launch, the character is now being discontinued in Free Fire and will not be available in the store after 31^st July. But any player who already owns it or purchases it before this date will be able to use it normally without any problems.

Jai Farewell Free Fire Event

Garena has also announced an upcoming Farewell Event for Jai, details of which have not officially been announced so far. However, according to a known data miner who goes by the name of 'Aorus.ff', it seems the event will be commencing from 19^th July.

• 18^th to 24^th July - Login for Jai

• 19^th to 25^th July - Jai's Farewell Web Event

• 24^th July - Jai's Party

• 24^th July - Login Reward
