Positive Gaming announced that they may have more surprises announcements.

The trend of foreign teams looking to acquire pro players from the Philippines (PH) continues as the Mongolian Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) team Positive Gaming revealed the latest addition to its lineup. The team has acquired the former RSG PH member Joshwell Christian "Iy4knu" Manaog. The pro player shall now join Positive Gaming as its new Gold Laner. However, it looks like Positive Gaming is not done with its surprises yet as its Facebook page promised that there will be more announcements soon. Iy4knu is one of the PH MLBB superstars that joined a foreign esports team during the off-season.

Positive Gaming signs Iy4knu for its Mongolian MLBB roster

Iy4knu is widely known for his title as the “Kingslayer” for his surprisingly dominant performance as a pro player. After his departure from RSG PH, the pro player has now joined Positive Gaming as per the announcement on the team’s Facebook page on 10th August.

In the post, it captioned, “We welcome our newest member Iy4knu, a former MPL Player and member of ONIC PH and RSG PH, to our team. Iy4knu is to play for Positive Gaming starting today.”

Positive Gaming also added that it is not done with its grand announcement as it will be posting more “tomorrow with another big news, stay tuned!”

Iy4knu started under Dream High Gaming where his team was eventually acquired by ONIC PH for the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) PH Season 4. Under the yellow hedgehog team, the pro player continued his journey. After Season 7 he was released from the team, after which he joined RSG PH to play only for one season. Iy4knu skipped Season 9, which is when RSG PH finally grabbed its first championship title, and then he eventually left the team.

This acquisition may prove to be a challenge for both Positive Gaming and Iy4knu due to the language barrier and other aspects. However, the team’s journey with its new Filipino import shall be an interesting story to follow.
