Omega Esports’ seasoned veteran Robert "Hito" Candoy has officially joined Team HAQ for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Malaysia (MPL MY) Season 11. The Malaysian squad announced the acquisition of the Filipino import through a roster reveal titled “PROJEK: Season 11.” Hito has been in the MPL PH esports scene for ages, but rarely had the chance to showcase his talents as he usually served as a substitute player.

However, Hito was also one of the most popular talents of Omega Esports in terms of engagement and entertainment, often providing a morale boost for his teammates during tough competitions.

Hito is one of the most iconic faces under Omega Esports. The pro player’s fun and goofy personality led him to be named as the CEO (Chief Entertainment Officer) of the esports organization.

As revealed by Team HAQ in a YouTube video, Hito shall be taking his expertise outside the Philippines and into the Malaysian MLBB esports scene.

With Hito finding a new home under the Malaysian squad, the pro player may be looking to prove he is more than just an entertaining character but also his skills on the big stage which fans haven’t seen in a long time.

The addition of the Filipino import could help Team HAQ improve its strategies after its upsetting performance in the M4 World Championship. The squad only finished 10th place after a a grueling encounter with the Turkish team Incendio Supremacy, resulting in a 1-2 loss.

Fans have witnessed how foreign teams with Filipino imports have seen a significant improvement in their playstyle. Todak previously announced the acquisition of former Bren Esports talent Mujahid Usman "Malik" Malik. Meanwhile Team Lunatix also acquired Jomari "Jowm" Pingol who was also a former teammate of Malik.

It will be interesting to see how the acquisition of Hito will impact Team HAQ in the upcoming MPL MY Season 11.
