The Myanmar team, Fenix Esports, officially released its entire Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBBB) roster. The team was one of the fresh faces of the big league who was able to defeat the fan-favorite Burmese teams Falcon Esports and AI Esports. However, after representing its country in the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2023 and finishing 9th-12th place, the team decided to let go of its players. The esports organization is yet to confirm if it plans on disbanding its MLBB team or simply rebuild with new members.

Fenix Esports bids farewell to its entire roster

While fans hold onto the hope of witnessing Fenix Esports' resurgence in the Myanmar MLBB esports scene, its participation in the MSC 2023 might have marked its first and last appearance on the international stage.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, Fenix Esports bid farewell to its fans and announced the departure of the Fenix Esports MLBB team.

“Today, Fenix Esports and our Fenix Esports MLBB team have said goodbye. We pray that each of our players will be able to achieve better results in the various paths they choose next,” captioned the post.

Fenix Esports came close to securing a spot at the highly coveted M4 World Championship. Displaying it skills and determination, the team reached the grand finals of the regional qualifier. However, it was Falcon Esports who emerged victorious with a 3-1 score, denying Fenix Esports the ticket to the international tournament.

In the MSC 2023 Myanmar qualifiers, the team faced a new top contender, AI Esports, who eliminated Falcon Esports with a 3-0 win in the lower bracket final. Fenix Esports persevered and scored a 4-2 victory against AI Esports and earned a ticket to the mid-season international tournament.

With its grand debut in the MSC 2023 Myanmar Qualifiers, Fenix Esports attracted significant attention as it entered the mid-season international event. Unfortunately, the team fell short of fans' expectations, experiencing an early exit during the group stage without securing any victories in its standing.

Fenix Esports' participation in the MSC 2023 marked both a milestone and a disappointment for fans. The team’s presence in the Myanmar MLBB esports scene remains influential, and fans eagerly anticipate its possible return to MLBB tournaments sometime in the future.
