MobaZane is not surprised that Outplay disbanding after failing to impress fans in the MSC 2023.

Michael "MobaZane" Cosgun, the captain of the North American (NA) team BloodThirstyKings (BTK), recently discussed the possibility of the Outplay squad disbanding following their underwhelming performance in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2023. After Outplay's disappointing early exit from the tournament without securing any wins, fans were left feeling disheartened. MobaZane acknowledged the potential breakup, expressing that he wouldn't be surprised if the team members decided to go their separate ways. He further added that it would be a big achievement if Outplay members would still stick with each other despite failing to impress fans in the MSC 2023.

Outplay members hint at leaving the team after upsetting MSC 2023 run

In a livestream, Outplay’s Mid Laner, Jang "Hoon" Seong-hun, revealed that most of his teammates plan to leave to find other opportunities to grow as a pro Mobile Legends player.

“Basic wanted to leave and get a new team, basically,” said Hoon. “He wanted to try other options”

According to Hoon, Outplay’s roamer Oscar "SHARK" Vo has also decided to join Basic in his pursuit of finding a new team. Meanwhile, Rainiel "URESHIII" Logronio was let go of the team despite having second thoughts about leaving.

“So, it’s just gonna be me and Carlos for now,” Hoon stated.

MobaZane reacts to Outplay members leaving after MSC 2023 fiasco

Following the news of Outplay members leaving the team, BTK captain, MobaZane, shared his reaction through a livestream, claiming it didn’t surprise him given the team had a bad run in the MSC 2023.

“I figured they would [disband], how could you lose in NACT (North American Challenger Tournament) then go to MSC without winning a single game, and then still stick together?,” said MobaZane.

He further alleged that Outplay was having issues with sponsorship. With that said, MobaZane thinks that if the team still stuck together despite an upsetting run, it would have been “one of the greatest achievements ever for North America.”
