Execration has officially confirmed that it is parting ways with its Mobile Legends: Bang Bang roster via its social media handles. As stated in the organization's PR statement, due to unfortunate circumstances, the team's Mobile Legends roster will be transferred to another organization at the start of MPL PH Season 8. Execration will reveal the new organization to which its Mobile Legends team will transfer once an agreement is finalized. More details regarding the Execration’s Mobile Legends roster buyout can be found below.

Execration Officially Releases its Mobile Legends Roster

In an official PR statement posted on June 23, 2021, the General Manager of LuponWXC, EJ Miranda stated that due to unfortunate circumstances, it will be transferring its Mobile Legends team roster to another organization.

The reason for the sudden release of Execration’s Mobile Legends team roster is yet to be officially announced. However, in the recent vlogs of the team’s veteran player Billy "Z4pnu" Alfonso may have revealed the reason why Execration had to let go of its Mobile Legends team.

Why Execration's Mobile Legends Roster is Being Considered For a Buyout

Execration’s veteran member and 6th man, Z4pnu made a vlog in which he explained why his team’s Mobile Legends Roster is being considered for a buyout. The pro player claimed that the reason for the buyout was because Execration failed to secure a slot in the upcoming MPL PH Season 8.

In addition, he stated that only eight MPL positions were available, and Indonesian organizations were quick to secure them. He added that only three Filipino esports organizations were able to secure slots-Bren Esports, Blacklist International, and TNC.

According to him, this forced the management to find a new organization to take its Mobile Legends team roster, or else it wouldn’t be able to play in the upcoming tournament. “We didn’t know it was first come first serve and with limited slots,” stated Z4pnu.

He explained that his organization was very busy, especially in its Dota 2 division since the team was competing in the WePlay AniMajor tournament which concluded recently.

"Our boss plans on buying a slot for next season," stated Z4pnu indicating that the Execration could be back in MPL PH sooner than we expect.

This isn’t the end for Execration’s Mobile Legends roster. The lineup will remain intact under a new organization which will be revealed at a later date. It will be interesting to see how it performs in the upcoming MPL PH Season 8 under a new banner.
