ECHO has officially announced the departure of its star roamer, Tristan "Yawi" Cabrera, marking the end of an era for the renowned team. The pro player was one of the key members that led the team to claim the M4 World Champion title. Yawi was also one of the most influential members of ECHO given his outgoing personality which grabbed the hearts of many fans.

The departure of Yawi has long been the subject of speculation, with rumors swirling since his limited participation in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines (MPL PH) Season 12. His absence from crucial matches sparked conjecture among supporters, hinting at potential tensions between the player and management.

ECHO officially bid farewell to its iconic roamer Yawi

Through a video posted on the official page of ECHO, Yawi announced his departure from the M4 World Champion squad.

“I will be parting ways with ECHO, guys. I just want to thank you (the fans) and ECHO,” Yawi expressed.

He further elaborated, acknowledging the help of the esports organization, including the coaching staff, the team manager, and his teammates, for allowing him to grow as an MLBB esports player. 

Despite a saddening farewell, Yawi remains optimistic about the next journey in his career.

“I’m very excited for the next opportunity for me and for sure, I’ll be bringing all the things learned here at ECHO so don’t be sad, guys,” he shared.

In a heartfelt video shared on ECHO's official platform, Yawi bid farewell to the M4 World Champion squad, marking the end of an era for the esteemed player and his devoted fanbase.

"I will be parting ways with ECHO. I want to extend my sincerest gratitude to (the fans) and to ECHO," Yawi conveyed.

In his reflection, Yawi expressed gratitude towards the esports organization, from the coaching staff to the team manager and his fellow teammates, acknowledging their collective contribution to his growth as a Mobile Legends esports player.

Despite the bittersweet nature of his departure, Yawi radiates optimism for the opportunities that lie ahead in his career.

"I’m very excited for the next opportunity for me and for sure, I’ll be bringing all the things learned here at ECHO so don’t be sad, guys," he shared.

Since ECHO welcomed Yawi into their ranks in 2022, the team has traversed a journey filled with triumphs and challenges. Throughout it all, Yawi's daring, high-risk plays emerged as a defining feature of ECHO's gameplay, earning them monikers such as "The House of Highlights" and "the ECHO Express." These titles were bestowed upon the team in recognition of their unstoppable momentum that most teams could not counter.

It will be intriguing to witness which team will secure the talents of Yawi for upcoming Mobile Legends tournaments. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for more updates in the future.
