Omega Esports’ pro player Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic wants to prove to the fans that his team can do more than just late-game comebacks. The team is widely known for its impressive skills of turning the tables during the late game. Omega Esports started its playoffs run in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 8 on a high note by taking down ECHO with a final match score of 4-1. The team players consider this match to be a good example of how they have improved their strategy and can most definitely dominate the early game.

E2MAX is confident that Omega Esports can also dominate early game

The former Execration squad, now known as Omega Esports has always been considered as the late-game kings. The team tends to dominate most of their matches during the late game when the teams have peaked in terms of items and objectives.

Omega Esports displayed an impressive feat during the first day of the MPL PH Season 8 playoffs. Omega defeated ECHO swiftly in each of their winning matches resulting in a 4-1 match score. ECHO tried to find its momentum and managed to win the second round of the match but Omega Esports dominated the next three matches, one of which was won within the 13-minute mark.

During a post-match interview, Omega Esports’ team captain E2MAX expressed that the team is looking forward to show fans how much they have improved for the current season of MPL PH.

“We practiced it (early game strategy) since we know we can pull off the late game,” stated E2MAX. “We improved our early rotations so we don’t stall out too much.”

The pro player also stated he wished to make amends for all the issues that surrounded his team and bring back the healthy rivalry amongst all the contenders of the MPL PH Season 8.

“There are a lot of issues right now and we just want to show that we would like to bring back the healthy rivalry,” stated E2MAX. “I hope the fans will now stop arguing. We no longer have grudges and we’re just excited.”

The team will be testing their newfound early-game strategies in the playoffs stage. It will be interesting to see if Omega Esports maintains its momentum to take home the championship title for the MPL PH Season 8.
