Shoutcasters hype up their favorite teams in the MPL PH Season 8 playoffs through a rap battle

To open up the upcoming playoffs stage, the casters of the MPL PH Season 8 dropped fire through breathtaking lyrical rhymes and puns while representing their assigned teams.

With Mara Aquino as the host of the rap battle, Manjean represented RSG PH, spitting fire as he explained how the team managed to take down the powerhouses Omega Esports and Bren Esports in the regular season.

Butters, took the banner for ECHO, and expressed in a poetic fashion how each of the team members possess unique traits which make a team that never backs down on a challenge.

Naisou, proudly waved the banner of the King of SEA, Omega Esports, and relayed the team’s achievements and how the other teams should watch out for Omega Esports, a squad comprising mostly of veterans.

OSX, represented Nexplay EVOS with a wacky yet fiery bar. The caster proudly proclaimed that the meme “8th place secured” is no more and how one of its members - Renejay “RENEJAY” Barcarse’s TikTok plays remain relevant to this day.

Oumi, taking the ONIC PH banner, proudly declared how the team officially broke Blacklist International’s code while rocking unorthodox strategies that are never before seen.

Leo, with the banner of the King of MPL PH Season 8 regular season, Blacklist International, put forth in a lyrical manner how the team is currently the most dominant in the tournament and that there is no “breaking the code.”
