Former Pakistani pacer, Shoaib Akhtar who is regarded as the fastest bowler in the history of international cricket has turned his attention towards esports. After being revealed as a member of the 'Gully Squad' alongside popular Pakistani mobile gaming personalities, Akhtar, in a huge move, has also been revealed as an upcoming playable character, just a day before his 46th birthday.

A glimpse of his character shows him in a cricketing getup with a green colored theme, wearing both wicketkeeping gloves and batting pads, while also holding a ball in his hands. The in-game character looks very similar to Akhtar especially with the long hair.

He can be seen running around the battlefield of PUBG Mobile along with his 'Gully Squad' as he takes part in different action scenarios involving gunfights and high speed chases.
