COD Mobile World Championship 2022 Starts 31st March

Activision announced the return of the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2022 yesterday. With $2 million USD in prize money up for grabs, any eligible players can sign up for the many events. The World Championship Final will take place in December and is set to have a prize of $1.7 million, the largest single payout event in Call of Duty (COD) Mobile World Championship history. All participants can also compete to earn in-game rewards, including new weapons and Operators, plus a share of the prize pool. The COD Mobile World Championship 2022 will span across 10 months, ending with an offline World Championship Final event. The tournament will officially begin on 31st March UTC (5:30 AM IST, 8:00 AM SGT)

COD Mobile World Championship 2022: Format, Schedule, Rewards

The COD Mobile World Championship 2022 will take place regionally in several stages beginning with Stage 1’s four open in-game qualifiers to be played out across four weekends. Stage 1 is for solo play and will begin on 31st March UTC, and ending on 24th April 2022, UTC. Eligible players who complete 10 Ranked Multiplayer matches and earn 60 points will qualify for Stage 2. In addition to qualifying to Stage 2, players can also earn in-game rewards every week.

The stage is set to start on 12th May and go on till 22nd May 2022. The top teams from Stage 2 will qualify for Stage 3, the Regional Qualifiers.

• Regional Qualifiers for Latin America and India: 17th - 19th June 2022.

• Regional Qualifiers for Europe and Japan: 24th - 26th June 2022.

• Regional Qualifiers for North America: 1st - 3rd July 2022.

Stage 4 will feature five Regional Playoffs in August 2022.

• Latin America Regional Playoffs: 13th - 14th August 2022.

• India Regional Playoffs: 13th - 14th August 2022.

• Europe Regional Playoffs: 20th - 21st August 2022.

• Japan Regional Playoffs: 20th - 21st August 2022.

• North America Regional Playoffs: 27th - 28th August 2022.

The last event is Stage 5, the World Championship Final offline event scheduled for December 2022. The finals alone are set to have a prize pool of $1.7 million. Stage 4 of the tournament and the World Championship Final will be streamed on the Call of Duty: Mobile YouTube channel.

Everyone who signs up to compete will receive an all-new Frame and Calling Card. Players representing their regions will also get region-specific weapon camos, and two Epic operators - Charly - Local Legend and Zero - Main Event.
