Cod Mobile Season 5: Upcoming Content Revealed

Activision has revealed the theme for their upcoming Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5. The upcoming COD Mobile Season 5 called “In Deep Water” will be themed around underwater warfare. COD Mobile is expected to release its fifth season sometime on June 29, 2021, at 7 PM CT. In addition to a new Battle Pass, new weapon blueprints, perks, and scorestreaks will be included. As of yet, Activision has not provided any more information about COD Mobile Season 5. Nevertheless, a few teasers have been released to give players a glimpse of what they can expect from the upcoming season.

Cod Mobile Season 5 Details

On June 24, 2021, COD Mobile showcased a teaser of its upcoming Season 5 theme in its official social media accounts. This upcoming season's title will be "In Deep Sea" and it will likely feature underwater content.

Activision is yet to fully reveal all the upcoming content for COD Mobile Season 5. However, Activision has posted a few teasers, revealing a few new weapons and maps that will arrive in the upcoming season. The new map and two new weapons first appeared in the COD Modern Warfare franchise.

New Weapons

Activision is yet to officially reveal the names of the two new weapons coming in season. However, based on the teasers posted, we can assume it’s the CR-56 AMAX assault rifle and the 725 shotgun.

The CR-56 AMAX is an assault rifle that excels in mid-ranged combat. Similar to other weapons in the game, the gun can be customized to fit a wide variety of playstyles.

725 Shotgun is a double-barrel shotgun. The weapon can only have 2 shells at a time but delivers quite the firepower in close to mid-range combat.

New Map

Activision has also revealed a new map that will be added in the upcoming COD Mobile Season 5. The new map features a dock with a ton of shipping containers near a warehouse.

Call of Duty franchise fans speculates that this is based on the Docks map from COD Modern Warfare 2019. In this map, a shipyard in London is the setting for duels. The size of the map is quite small which is perfect for small-scale matches like 1v1 or 2v2 matches in COD Mobile.

New Character

A new Legendary character was also teased on June 21, 2021. The new legendary character will be the first character to have its own pet companion.

According to the teaser, the new Legendary character will be revealed on June 24, 2021.

There are a lot of new things to look forward to in the upcoming COD Mobile Season 5. It will be interesting to see what surprises await in the game when the new season finally drops.
