Billie the Puppet tears through COD Mobile along with a new weapon blueprint
To celebrate the Halloween season, Activision announced an unexpected collaboration with the popular survival horror movie franchise, Saw. The collaboration features the iconic ventriloquist doll, Billie the Puppet alongside a new weapon blueprint called Chopper - Rules of the Game.
A teaser was released back on 19th October, giving players a sneak peek at what horrors await them in COD Mobile Season 9. The teaser reenacted the infamous scene from the movie where a victim is forced to saw off his limb with a metal cutting saw.
The character skin, Billie the Puppet, and the weapon blueprint Chopper - Rules of the Game can be acquired in the upcoming Lucky Draw which is scheduled to release on 22nd Oct 2021 at 5 PM (PT). The lucky draw will remain in the in-game shop through the COD Mobile Season 9.
Billie the Puppet was previously released in Call of Duty Warzone back in Halloween 2020 alongside other horror-themed cosmetics. A lot of content from COD Warzone has been making its way into COD Mobile. For next year’s Halloween, Activision may consider releasing the character skin Leatherface for COD Mobile. Leatherface is the antagonist of the movie The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
For now, players can dive into a plethora of exciting new content themed around the spirit of the Halloween season. The COD Mobile Season 9 update has recently been released to deliver two new maps - Havoc Sawmill and Halloween Standoff.
Two new functional weapons have also been added to the game. The first one, the Thumper grenade launcher, will most likely kill enemies with a single shot. The second weapon is the Swordfish tactical rifle, which offers a four-round burst that packs a punch for both long and short-range combat.
It will be interesting to see what more surprises are in store for players for the ninth season of COD Mobile.
