Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Will Have a Multiplayer Mode
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is set to have a multiplayer mode. The official Warzone Mobile account announced on Twitter that the upcoming mobile battle royale will also feature a "focused" multiplayer mode that "differentiates itself" from Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Mobile. In the announcement, Activision gave players a glimpse of two maps coming to Warzone Mobile multiplayer. Here is all we currently know about the multiplayer mode in Warzone Mobile.
Warzone Mobile multiplayer mode features
Warzone Mobile multiplayer will have a map location called TV Station and Scrapyard.
The TV Station is a location on the Verdansk map. It is located in the center of the map and features the BCH TV Station.
The large building is a prominent landmark with multiple entrances and tight office spaces to pick close-quarter fights.
You can also access the roof through an exterior ladder, making it a good sniper perch.
The Scrapyard map was featured in both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Mobile. It closely resembles a three-lane map, with fights usually breaking out between the long streets of the field filled with dismantled planes. Scrapyard features fast gameplay with plenty of cover behind hunks of metal.
Players can use the multiplayer mode to "test weapons, play quick matches" and "train for the main affair - Battle Royale", according to the tweet. Warzone Mobile is set to feature Warzone’s iconic Verdansk map, and lobbies consisting of up to 120 players. The gameplay will also bring finishing moves, contracts to get access to more loot, buy stations, killstreaks, and the Gulag.
Pre-registrations for Android started on 15th September with iOS pre-registrations starting on 18th November. According to the App Store, Call of Duty Warzone Mobile is expected to launch on 15th May 2023. The game currently has over 25 million pre-registrations.
