Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) Season 8 Train to Nowhere is coming to a close in a little over a week. The October season of CODM is all set to bring back the spook with zombies, a new map, a new mode, and a number of balance changes to the game. Let’s look at what’s new in Call of Duty: Mobile Season 9.
Call of Duty: Mobile Season 9 Zombies Are Back
According to the Leakers On Duty Twitter account, a Halloween-themed new map called Haunted Hacienda will be coming to the game. Hacienda was first featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and was first added to CODM in February 2022 as part of the Season 1: Heist update. Hacienda will likely get a spooky makeover in CODM Season 9. Haunted Hacienda will feature pumpkins, ghost ships, and other spooky decorations.
Activision seems to be finally giving players the much-requested zombie mode. Attack of the Undead Survivor will also be available in the next season. Both the survivors and the undead will have access to scorestreaks, operator skills, and other enhancements. Survivors who make it till the end will have to fight the undead till death.
A limited-time mode called Return of Shi no Numa is also likely to come to the new season. During the event, Doctor Edward Richtofen, the main character in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will narrate the history of Shi no Numa, a zombie map from Call of Duty World at War. The game mode will also feature vending machines and operator skills. The updated zombie mode is also coming to the game according to Leakers On Duty. You’ll now be able to use features like operator skills against zombies. Exclusive mystery boxes will give players unique rewards like Axe-Lava after every match.
New weapons coming to the game include the Krig 6 (AR) and the C4 Lethal equipment. Krig 6 is described as a mid-ranged Assault Rifle (AR) with high mobility stats, good stability, and low recoil. There will be C4 that can be put on surfaces and remotely detonated. Note that these are early leaks and are subject to change before the season officially comes out.
