Bren Esports Flap Feels Confident Winning Against ECHO in MPL PH S9 Week 5
Heading into the fifth week of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 9, Bren Esports’ EXP Laner David “Flap” Charles Canon feels confident taking down the top-performing team, ECHO. Through a pre-match press conference, the EXP Laner took a jab at ECHO’s Frediemar "3MarTzy" Serafico and Karl "KarlTzy" Gabriel Nepomuceno saying he can take them on at the same time in his lane. He also added that he has no doubt that Bren Esports will definitely make it to the playoffs stage of the MPL PH Season 9. Bren Esports’ roamer Vincent "Joy Boy" De Guzman echoed that his team may make it to the top three.
Bren Esports Flap challenges ECHO’s 3MarTzy and KarlTzy
The first half of the regular season did not go so well for Bren Esports. The team is currently in the last spot on the leaderboard with only one win. However, the team remains confident that it can definitely make it to the playoffs.
“If you lose confidence in yourself, you already lost before it even started. So always have confidence in your team and yourself,” the coach of Bren Esports Paulo “Pauloxpert” Magno Munsayac said.
It would seem that Bren Esports’ Flap is brimming with confidence as he challenged ECHO’s two best players 3MarTzy and his former teammate KarlTzy.
“I’m so confident. 3Mar (3MarTzy ) and Karl (KarlTzy), both of you come to my lane, I shall beat both of you at the same time, no one can stop me,” Flap said.
Bren Esports roamer Joy Boy added that they have been doing a lot of preparations for the match against ECHO, considering that this will be a match against the most dominant team in the MPL PH Season 9.
“Our preparations are looking good right now, we really prepared against ECHO. They should prepare on the drafting (phase),” Joy Boy said.
When asked whether Bren Esports is confident it shall secure a spot in the playoffs despite being at the bottom of the leaderboard, the three responded with a firm “Yes”.
“We’ll make it to playoffs? Of course, 100%, write it down,” Flap said.
“Maybe we could reach the top three spot, look forward to it,” Joy Boy followed up.
Bren Esports is looking to bounce back from its lackluster performance in the first half of the MPL PH Season 9 regular season. The team is set to go against ECHO on 19th March at 6:00 PM (PST).
