Indonesian esports organization, BOOM Esports, revealed its League of Legends (LoL): Wild Rift roster through its official social media handles on 29th July 2021. The team has decided to release its previous roster due to the team’s lackluster performance in the open qualifiers. With its new and revamped team roster, BOOM Esports secured a spot in the final qualifier stage of the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series 2021 Fall: Indonesia. BOOM Esports reveals its Wild Rift roster

After the team’s unsuccessful run in the open qualifiers of the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series 2021 Fall: Indonesia, BOOM Esports made an announcement that it is releasing its Wild Rift roster.

The pro players released were, Gatama “Platypus” Putra Sanjaya, Wahidu “Charlize” Imam Nur Cholis, Irdham “Damskii” Hilmansyah, and M. “ViBritannia” Vikrie Ramadhan. Only Taufik “Tufz” remains on the team roster.

A few days after the release of its team roster, BOOM Esports made a big announcement, revealing its new and improved lineup. The team is now comprised of former players from various esports organizations like Aerowolf and ONIC Esports.

The full roster is as follows;

  • Gov - Ex-captain of ONIC Esports

  • FlyArthur - Midlaner from Aerowolf

  • Xiao Qi - Jungler from Aerowolf

  • Tufz - "The last man from the previous roster"

  • Chalize - A returning BOOM Esports pro player

It would seem that the organization took the opportunity of acquiring promising esports pros from teams who recently released its Wild Rift rosters. The team continues to fight for a spot in the upcoming group stage of the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series 2021 Fall: Indonesia.

BOOM Esports is an esports organization in Indonesia, widely known for its team rosters for being relentless and taking huge risks. The organization currently holds teams from various esports titles such as DOTA 2, CS: GO, and LoL PC.

BOOM Esports’ venture into the Wild Rift esports scene will prove to be another challenge for the organization. It will be interesting to see if its new and improved Wild Rift roster will be able to dominate the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series 2021 Fall: Indonesia, and possibly, the regional championship, Summer Super Cup Fall Season.
