Blind Esports attained this spot by placing top four in the first open qualifier.

The competitive schedule for Clash of Clans (CoC) has been announced by Supercell for 2023 and one of the first tournaments to take place is the Clash of Clans Worlds Warmup 2023, scheduled to take place from 11th to 19th February.

A total of two Open Qualifiers were set to take place for this tournament. The first qualifier came to an end a few days back with the top four teams qualifying for the Group Stage of the main event.

Blind Esports from India is among these four teams that have qualified to the Worlds Warmup 2023, ready to go face-to-face against some of the top international organizations next month.

Clash of Clans Worlds Warmup 2023: Blind Esports qualifies for the group stage

The first Open Qualifiers for the Worlds Warmup 2023 has concluded and Blind Esports from India has secured one of the first four slots by placing third overall. This has granted the Indian organization a chance to go against some of the best teams from around the world at the main event, which has been split between Group Stage and Playoffs.

  • Worlds Warmup 2023: Group Stage - 11th to 12th February

  • Worlds Warmup 2023: Playoffs - 18th to 19th February

Four teams qualified through open qualifier of Worlds Warmup 2023

The team from India that qualified for this tournament competed in the qualifier under the moniker of 'CG War Clan', following which the roster was signed by Blind Esports, an Indian organization with teams in multiple mobile titles like Call of Duty Mobile and New State Mobile.

Another qualifier for the tournament will be held from 4th to 5th February through which four more teams will qualify for the Worlds Warmup 2023. In total, eight qualified teams will join eight directly invited teams, finalists from the Clash Worlds 2022, in the Group Stage through which only eight teams will move ahead to the Playoffs.

It will be interesting to see how far Blind Esports goes in this tournament being the only team from India so far.
