The Philippines team, Blacklist International responded to RRQ Hoshi’s bold statements in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Invitational (MPLI) 2021. RRQ Hoshi’s pro player Albert Neilsen "Alberttt'' Iskandar previously stated in a post-match interview that he is certain that they can easily take down the two-time MPL PH champions. Shortly after Blacklist International dominated Bigetron Alpha with an impressive 2-0 clean sweep victory in the MPLI 2021 quarterfinals, one of the team’s star players Kiel "Oheb'' Soriano responded to RRQ’s statements. The pro player stated that he is certain that his team, Blacklist International, will win instead without a doubt.

Wise spearheaded Blacklist International with his 1v5 Aldous gameplay

The match between the Indonesian team Bigetron Alpha and the Philippines team Blacklist International was one of the most interesting matches in the MPLI 2021. Bigetron Alpha desperately tried to counter Blacklist International’s lineup by suppressing the comfort picks of the Blacklist International captain, Jhonmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna, but it was to no avail.

During the first match, Bigetron Alpha could not contest the healing power of OhMyV33nus’ Estes which put them at a huge disadvantage in every team fight. The Indonesian team managed to take over the resources and get a huge boost to suppress Blacklist International but in the end, they lacked the damage to successfully win skirmishes due to the constant healing.

The second match went worse for Bigetron Alpha. The team managed to stall out the match but a huge outplay happened at the 15-minute mark. Blacklist International’s Danerie "Wise" Rosario managed to hit his power spike with his Aldous. Wise proceeded to engage in a 1v5 by catching Bigetron Alpha off guard. The surprise attack left Bigetron in shambles due to the tremendous amount of damage Wise's Aldous dealt to the whole squad.

Wise's Aldous dealing a ton of damage in a single ability.

Blacklist International was quick to capitalize on this play and immediately finished the game to secure itself a spot in the semifinals.

Through a post-match interview, Blacklist International’s Oheb shared his response to the bold statements made by RRQ Hoshi in the MPLI 2021.

“We’re excited to face RRQ (Hoshi) because they said that they are 100% sure that they are the strongest in the MPLI (2021),” stated Oheb.

When asked how certain is he that his team will win against RRQ Hoshi, Oheb responded with a resounding “yes” He is also looking forward to facing RRQ’s Schevenko David "Skylar" Tendean. He wants to see who comes out as the better Gold Laner between the two.

It will be interesting to see the conclusion of the rivalry between Blacklist international and RRQ Hoshi and find out which of these teams will dominate in the MPLI 2021.
