RRQ Hoshi Is Confident of Defeating Blacklist International in the MPLI 2021

RRQ Hoshi feels confident that they can take down the two-time MPL Philippines (PH) champions Blacklist International in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Invitational (MPLI) 2021. Shortly after defeating the MPL Malaysia (MY) champions Team SMG with a 2-0 clean sweep victory, the team’s veteran player Albert Neilsen "Alberttt" Iskandar made a bold statement. The pro player admits that Blacklist International is indeed strong. However, his team, RRQ Hoshi, is stronger than the PH team without any doubt. After qualifying for the semi-finals, RRQ Hoshi is now waiting for the grand encounter with Blacklist International in the MPLI 2021.

Alberttt is 100% sure that his team can defeat Blacklist International

After a fist-clenching match against Team SMG in the quarterfinals, RRQ Hoshi secured another clean sweep victory score of 2-0 in the MPLI 2021. The team easily cruised through the match with its unrelenting team rotations and the MPL MY champions, Team SMG, succumbed to defeat as they failed to counter the onslaught of RRQ Hoshi.

Both matches saw Team SMG desperately trying to hold its fort as RRQ Hoshi consistently pressured its opponents into playing passively and prevented them from taking kills. The first match ended with an amazing 17 Kills for RRQ Hoshi while Team SMG only secured 4 kills.

The second match was no different from the first as RRQ Hoshi kept its foot on the enemy’s throat by gaining a massive lead in kills and in-game resources to quickly finish the match in less than 15 minutes.

Through a post-match interview, RRQ Hoshi’s veteran player Alberttt reveals that his team is not afraid to face Blacklist International. He admits that the two-time MPL PH champions are indeed strong but they (RRQ Hoshi) are stronger.

“Blacklist (International) is the champion in the Philippines, right? They are so strong too” stated Alberttt. “(But) Indo (Indonesia) is very strong.”

Alberttt also proudly stated that he is confident that RRQ Hoshi can easily claim the MPLI 2021 championship title.

“Yes, so confident (that we will be champions), 100 percent” stated Alberttt.

RRQ Hoshi is the runner-up of the MPL ID Season 8. The team had an amazing run in the playoffs stage but was eventually defeated by ONIC Esports in the grand finals with a 3-4 match score, in favor of ONIC Esports. The team is looking to redeem itself in the MPLI 2021 by claiming the championship title.

It will be interesting to see if RRQ Hoshi makes it to the grand finals and claims the championship title in the MPLI 2021.
