Blacklist International defeated TNC Pro Team in the eighth week of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 10 regular season. The codebreakers delivered a 2-1 clean sweep victory after a heartwarming entrance ceremony to end the Phoenix squad's regular season journey. Blacklist International aims to win enough games to claim an upper bracket spot in the playoffs stage. Despite the Phoenix team's poor performance this season, the codebreakers praised TNC Pro Team's valiant efforts in the MPL PH Season 10 during a post-match press conference. The Blacklist International’s head coach, Kristoffer "BON CHAN" Ricaplaza, is optimistic about the team's next season and believes the team would return stronger.

Blacklist International kept its upper bracket seed dream

After a dominant win over TNC Pro Team, the Tier One-backed squad reclaimed the top spot on the regular season leaderboard with 25 points in total. Both games of the series were dominated by Blacklist International.

Ben "Benthings" Maglaque did everything he could to set up potential team fights that TNC Pro Team could win. However, Blacklist International's star jungler Danerie "Wise" Rosario remained precise in his Retribution plays to secure crucial objectives. Furthermore, Kiel "OHEB" Soriano's marksmanship was flawless, and Johnmar "OhMyV33NUS" Villaluna provided enough map vision to avoid ambushes.

The series ended with a 2-0 clean sweep for Blacklist International, knocking TNC Pro Team out of MPL PH Season 10 contention.

Coach BON CHAN is looking forward to TNC Pro Team’s epic comeback next season

This season, the Phoenix team had a very disappointing run. The team finished the regular season with two wins and 12 losses, totaling only 10 points. Despite this, Blacklist International praised the team for its efforts to improve its performance even thought the team was ranked last.

“Actually when we were preparing for our match against TNC, I said to my team that we will be facing a much scarier version of TNC compared to week 1 to week 7 because now they have nothing to lose,” said the team’s support specialist Jonmar "OhMyV33NUS" Villaluna.

The star roamer added that the team was preparing for their match against TNC Pro Team and anticipated that they would be more formidable than before.

“We banned assassins because we feel that because of their confidence, they would be able to unleash the full potential of SD[ZYZ] using assassins,” explained OhMyV33NUS.

Blacklist International’s coach BON CHAN admitted that he was a big fan of TNC Pro Team since Season 9.

“Since Season 9, I was a big fan of them because they really can put forth unique plays,” said the head coach. “I hope they could return to their winning form in the next season.”

BON CHAN further elaborated that just because TNC Pro Team is out of contention for the MPL PH Season 10, the team’s journey in the esports scene is far from over.

“They can consider this as the beginning of something new as this defeat may make them stronger,” the head coach said. “It’s already proven by us because the more we lose, the more we learn and the more we get stronger.”

Blacklist International will face RSG PH on 2nd October at 7:30 PM (PHT) in an effort to maintain its top spot on the regular season standings.
