All teams competing in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series Season 2 (BGMS S2) will be bringing in new strategies and leveling up their gameplay for the BGMS Season 2 Week 2.

Watch the action unfold live on Star Sports from 14^th to 20^th August, 21:30 IST onwards, as participants pull their socks for the final push towards the BGMS Season 2 Playoffs.

Similar to the first week, BGMS Season 2 Week 2 will comprise of League Week followed by Super Weekend. Every single team will compete in the league stage but only the top 12 will get an opportunity to play in the weekend finals.

BGMS Season 2 Week 2: Complete Details

Two stages of Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series Season 2 have concluded, Launch Week and BGMS Season 2 Week 1, witnessing plenty of top-notch BGMI action and warming up the stage for the BGMS Season 2 Week 2.

This will be the final hurdle ahead of the Playoffs, which will witness 16 teams compete for 12 available spots in the Grand Finals.

BGMS Season 2 Week 2: Group Draw

A total of 24 teams are competing in BGMS Season 2, out of which 14 are direct invites while the remaining 10 are qualifying teams. Every week they are shuffled between three groups of eight teams each for the regular weekly matches.

The BGMS Season 2 is scheduled to take place from 4^th to 27^th August from 21:30 IST onwards live on Star Sports.

BGMS Season 2 Week 2: Format

1. Once again all 24 teams will be split into three groups of eight teams each.

2. During the league stage of the second week, a round-robin format will be followed resulting in a total of 12 matches being played across four match days.

3. Based on their week two standings the top 12 teams will go on to compete in the super weekend of the second week. They will be joined by the top four teams based on the overall standings.

4. During the weekend stage of the second week, nine matches will be played across three match days and the points will be added to the overall standings.

5. On the basis of overall standings, the top four team will directly qualify for the grand finals, next sixteen teams will go on to compete in the playoffs, and the bottom four teams will be eliminated from the tournament.

Qualifying for the Super Weekend 2 will be very important but it will not be enough. All qualifying teams must deliver their absolute best to ensure that they directly reach the BGMS Season 2 Grand Finals.
