Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) streamer and competitive player Hemanth "Ultron" Sethi has recently made headlines by leaving 8Bit Esports. Initially, Ultron had announced his association with 8Bit Esports as an esports athlete for their BGMI lineup. However, a recent development has revealed that he will not be continuing his career with the team. Ultron took to Instagram to upload a story expressing his openness to exploring new opportunities in the esports realm.
Ultron's departure from 8Bit comes as a surprise to many, considering his previous stints with notable teams like Team XSpark, Team Soul, Galaxy Racer, and Team Celtz. Throughout his career, Ultron has achieved significant milestones, including winning the PUBG Mobile Pro League - South Asia Season 1 and representing his nation in the PUBG Mobile World League 2020: East. Presently, Ultron focuses on streaming and content creation for S8UL Esports.
Ultron's Decision to Leave 8Bit Esports Leaves Fans Speculating on Future Plans
The reason behind Ultron's departure from 8Bit has attracted attention and speculation. During one of his livestreams, Ultron had mentioned forming 8Bit's BGMI lineup alongside Vishwas "Juicy" Battoo, "Beast," and Dhruv "Madman" Gaur. He had also hinted at the addition of "Mighty," which was later confirmed. Team 8Bit has been actively participating in various BGMI tournaments, including the Skyesports Championship 2023 and other upcoming competitions.
However, according to Ultron's recent Instagram story, he has parted ways with 8Bit and is now actively seeking new opportunities. The news caught the attention of Mrinmoy "Mercy" Lahkar and Lokesh "Goldy" Jain. Mercy, a prominent member of S8UL Esports, reacted to Ultron's story during one of his live streams. He disclosed that Ultron had decided not to continue with 8Bit, citing a lack of synergy within the lineup. Mercy also mentioned that Ultron had not personally informed him about his departure.
Goldy, the co-owner of S8UL Esports, clarified that Ultron had a conversation with Animesh "Thug" Agarwal, co-owner of S8UL Esports. Mercy further explained that Ultron had started practicing again after the game made a comeback, but there seemed to be a significant gap between Ultron and Harmandeep "Mavi" Singh, with whom he had been playing.
Meanwhile, during one of his live streams, Indian esports caster Zishan "Mazy" Alam speculated that Ultron could join Global Esports along with Mavi. Considering that Global Esports has only unveiled Mavi for their BGMI lineup, with other players yet to be disclosed, this could very well be a possibility.
Fans are excited to see under which name Ultron will be playing in the upcoming tournaments, especially the rumored BGIS Season 2.
