BGMI Masters Series Season 2: Largest Prize Pool, Schedule, Total Teams, More

NODWIN Gaming and Star Sports have come together once again to announce the return of BGMI Masters Series Season 2, the most successful Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) tournament to be broadcasted live on television.

This time it will feature the largest-ever prize pool for a BGMI tournament INR 2,10,00,000 ($256,107 USD) which is an increase of INR 57,50,000 ($70,125 USD) in comparison to that of the first season.

It is scheduled to commence on 4^th August, Friday from 21:30 IST onwards, taking place over 22 days with a total of 24 participating teams, broadcasting live across television and online streaming platform exclusively on Star Sports and Rooter respectively.

After facing a ban of more than 10 months, BGMI got permission by the Indian government to return on 29^th May. Ever since, the game has enjoyed a steady comeback, slowly expanding its competitive presence within the country back to where it was before.

The announcement of BGMI Masters Series Season 2 follows that of another premier tournament for the mobile title called Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2023 (BMIS 2023) featuring a total prize pool of INR 2,00,00,000 ($243,971 USD).

The BGMI community in the last 24 hours has been presented with two of the biggest tournaments for the title. This just goes on to show the level of commitment that Krafton has towards growing the competitive side of the mobile battle royale within the country.

While most of the official details announced thus far have been presented above, a bit more information about the BGMI Masters Series Season 2 has been leaked by Gametube.

According to him, out of the 24 competing teams, only 14 while be handed direct invites while the remaining 10 will be making their way through the open qualifiers, information for which might be released soon.
