Team SouL BGMI coach Amit “Amit” Dubey feels that no one can replace Sahil “Omega” Jakhar’s role as an IGL.
Fans asked if Sohail “Hector” Shaikh” can take on IGL responsibilities at SouL and Amit disagreed with them.
The coach feels that the current roster will not be able to match Hector’s pace as they have different playstyles.

Team SouL’s Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) coach Amit “Amit” Dubey said in a recent livestream that Sohail “Hector” Shaikh” is not a good choice for the team as an in-game leader (IGL) and will ultimately lead to the downfall of the team. His comments surprised many fans but they ultimately agreed with Amit after listening to his reasoning. He even claimed that no one in the current lineup can become an IGL in BGMI aside Sahil “Omega” Jakhar.

Amit feels Omega is the right IGL for Team SouL

Amit said in a recent livestream that he (Hector) can become an IGL for Team SouL as he is qualified to lead a roster. But the players at Team SouL will not be able to keep up with his pace as they have a completely different playstyle.

The coach feels that Omega is the only IGL who can lead the team and they need to find a replacement who has the same mindset as the ex-IGL. He also feels that no player in the current roster can step up and become an IGL in BGMI esports.

He said, “No one in the current SouL lineup can match the IGL level to dominate the lobby. If Omega leaves the team, we will have to sign a player who can compete at the same level as him.”

Despite BGMI being banned in India, a lot of teams are still practicing and have not disbanded their rosters. Team SouL is looking forward to the game’s return but no one knows for certain if or when the game will make a comeback.

There has been a lot of controversy surrounding the tier-one scrims and there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the future of the game. Fans can’t wait to see Team SouL and other popular organizations compete again. While you wait for the game’s return, feel free to check out the top five alternatives to BGMI in 2023.
