BGIS 2024 Round 2 - Day 1 - Group 1: Match Summary, Teams Qualified for Round 3

Day 1 of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 Round 2 has concluded with the seasoned squad of Carnival Gaming dominating the event. A few upcoming teams like Chemin Esports, Bot Army Esports and Inspiration Esports also showed consistent performances. Carnival Gaming became the first team to grab a hat-trick of chicken dinners in BGIS 2024. 

The BGIS 2024 Round 2 will see 512 teams competing for a spot in Round 3.

Match 1 Erangel: Inspiration Esports secured a 17 point chicken dinner. Sign To Gods placed second and got 13 points. Carnival Gaming placed third, it showed aggressive gameplay and got 11 points, 9 of which came via finishes. Sahil “Omega” Jakhar from Carnival Gaming was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match with 5 finishes. Heroes Gaming and Bot Army Esports placed fourth and fifth and scored 10 and 9 points respectively.

Match 2 Miramar: Carnival Gaming grabbed a 24 point chicken dinner. Naman “Neyo” from Carnival Gaming was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match with 6 finishes. Chemin Esports placed second, it showed aggressive gameplay and got 11 points, 9 of which came via finishes. Sign To Gods placed third and got 9 points. Team 7 Eleven and TeamDC placed fourth and fifth and scored 7 points each. Kinetic Esports was eliminated in the early stages with zero points.

Match 3 Sanhok: Carnival Gaming secured back to back chicken dinners with 15 points. The Chosen 4 got the most points from the match, 16, of which 12 points came via finishes. Osiris from The Chosen 4 was the MVP of the match with 7 finishes. Bot Army Esports placed third and got 14 points. Chemin Esports and Lethal Warriors placed fourth and fifth and scored 9 and 8 points respectively. Inspiration Esports and Royal Emperor WH were eliminated early with just a single point each.

Match 4 Miramar: Carnival Gaming secured its third back to back chicken dinner with 23 points. Naman “Neyo” from Carnival Gaming was the MVP of the match with 7 finishes. Chemin Esports placed second and scored 15 points, 12 of which came via finishes. Inspiration Esports placed third, it made a comeback and got 14 points. Team 7 Eleven and The Chosen 4 placed fourth and fifth and scored 9 and 7 points respectively. Team Galaxy was eliminated early with just a single point.

Match 5 Sanhok: Heroes Gaming grabbed a comeback chicken dinner with 18 points. Big Boi Esports placed second, it made a comeback and got 17 points, 11 of which came via finishes. GoodBoi from Big Boi Esports was the MVP of the match with 6 solo finishes. Royal Emperor WH placed third and scored 15 points, 12 of which came via finishes. Inspiration Esports placed fourth and got 10 points. The Chosen 4 placed fifth and got 9 points.

Match 6 Erangel: Chemin Esports secured a 25 point chicken dinner. Venom from Chemin Esports was the MVP of the match with 6 finishes. Royal Emperor WH placed second and scored 14 points. Bot Army Esports placed third and got 11 points. Carnival Gaming placed fourth, it continued its good run and got 10 points. Sign To Gods placed fifth and got 9 points. TeamDC and The Chosen 4 were eliminated with 1 point each.
