BGIS 2023 Round 3 Day 1 Group 3: Overall Standings, Match Summary, and More
Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 has put forth some great battles for the fans. Group 3 has been dominated by the underdog teams and some seasoned squads have struggled in the initial matches.
The third group of BGIS Round 3 played its first set of three matches on 14th September and will play the rest on 15th September. Team Insane finished the first day with 67 points including 36 finish points. Its amazing victory in the third match aided it in claiming the top spot. After winning the first and second match, Brave Esports finished second with 52 points.
BGIS Group 3 Day 1 match summary
Match 1 Vikendi: Brave Esports got off to a fantastic start to the day, winning the opening game and securing a chicken dinner with 27 points. “Can” and “Dude” from Brave Esports took six and four finishes in this game. Team Insane with 14 eliminations got 26 total points. Aditya “Aadi” Dawar and Harsh “Harshh” from Team Insane got four and six finishes, respectively. ORB Esports earned 17 points for its efforts. The renowned Hyderabad Hydras squad scored 10 points, including two finishes.
Match 2 Miramar: Brave Esports continued its momentum and secured its second chicken dinner of the day with 22 points. Godop, Dude, and S1mple took six, three, and three finishes, respectively. BW Esports received 18 points for its aggressive gameplay, while Version 9 and Team Jod received 15 points each.
In the second game, Team Insane was able to get only eight points. Hyderabad Hydras had a sub par performance earning only five points. UDOG India also struggled in this encounter, taking only two points.
Match 3 Erangel: Team Insane took a massive 33 point chicken dinner in the last match of the day. Skipz and Harsh from Team Insane eliminated six enemies each. ASG Esports and Version 9 continued their good run and got 19 points. Revenge Esports and UDOG India took 11 and 9 points, respectively. Brave Esports was eliminated early in this match with only three points.
Fans were impressed by Brave Esports and Version 9 as these upcoming teams have shown their prowess on the first day of the event. These teams will look to continue their momentum and grab a spot in Round 4.
