Battlefield Mobile Closed Alpha Test in India Will Start Later This Month

Cover-Credits:
Battlefield Mobile’s Closed Alpha Test will start later this month for Indian gamers. The first closed alpha test began in Autumn 2021 and it is finally time for Indian players to try out the game, but the beta will be available for Android gamers only. If you want to pre-register for the game, you can do so from the Google Play Store. The next Alpha Test is open for Indian gamers but it will open to other regions as well in the near future.
How to pre-register for Battlefield Mobile’s Closed Alpha Tests
If you want to pre-register for the upcoming Battlefield Mobile game, here’s what you need to do:
Head to the official Google Play Store Link for Battlefield Mobile
Click on Pre-Register
Choose the device you want to pre-register the game on
You will be automatically entered into the Closed Alpha Test for Android. If you are from a region that does not have access to the beta yet, you can still pre-register to be notified when the game is available in your region.
Pre-registering for the closed alpha does not guarantee you access to the game as there are limited slots available and EA (Electronic Arts) hands out server registrations on a first come first serve basis.
What to expect From Battlefield Mobile?
Battlefield Mobile seeks to be a mobile-only version of Battlefield that is free-to-play and supported by microtransactions for cosmetic items. DICE General Manager Oskar Gabrielson revealed in a blog post at the time of the game’s announcement that the title will offer a full-fledged “skill-based experience”. The game is currently in its testing phase and more details on the gameplay and availability will be out closer to its release. It remains to be seen what modes are brought forward from the standard Battlefield games on PC and console.
Battlefield 2042 which launched in late 2022 was a complete flop with players abandoning the game in a matter of weeks. At the time of writing, Battlefield 2042 experiences fewer active players on Steam than the franchise’s previous releases “Battlefield 1” and “Battlefield V.”
Will Battlefield Mobile come to iOS?
Fans are concerned over Battlefield Mobile’s availability on iOS as EA has not yet hosted a single closed alpha on the platform. The game is not yet available for pre-registering on Apple’s mobile platform. EA’s own Battlefield Mobile FAQs page states that the game’s closed alpha test is available for phones running Android 7.0 and up.
However, it also mentions “mobile devices supported by this test do not represent the final launch version and will support more models in the future.” There is no clear mention of whether the game will be available on iOS or not but EA has not ruled it out officially just yet.
