One of the popular Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) players Jared Dillinger announced that he will be competing in a Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports tournament this February. He is one of the players of the Basketball team Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. The pro player did not mention what esports event he is attending, however, hints suggest that he may be competing in a tournament hosted by Dark League Studios which will feature both PBA celebrities and MLBB talents.

Aside from announcing his venture into the MLBB esports scene, Dillinger also revealed that he is a fan of the iconic video game streamer, Hershel "Dr. Disrespect" Beahm IV.

MLBB tournament to be hosted featuring PBA and MLBB stars

Through a Twitter post, Barangay Ginebra’s Basketball player Jared Dillinger shared that he will be joining an MLBB tournament soon.

"So I entered an esports tournament next month @MobileLegendsOL," he stated.

The Basketball star also gave a shoutout to one of the most iconic video game streamers and influencers, Dr. Disrespect.

“Making a run for another chip, I’m going to shock the world. If only @DrDisrespect can see me now. That’s my idol,” Dillinger wrote.

Aside from tagging the official Twitter of MLBB and Dr. Disrespect, he also tagged Tier One Entertainment, the company that owns the Blacklist International MLBB team. The Basketball player is also one of the esports company’s talents as revealed in one of his previous Tweets back in 2022.

Dillinger also added “#darkleague,” which is a hashtag for Dark League Studio, an esports organization that partnered with PBA to host the “Esports Bakbakan” event where various iconic PBA players and MLBB celebrities will represent each of the 12 teams in the upcoming league. While the Basketball star did not mention which tournament he will be joining, the hashtag may hint at him joining the upcoming event hosted by Dark League Studio.
