One of the most popular mobile esports tournament franchises from India, Thug Invitational, is back with yet another season featuring a brand new competitive title - Apex Legends Mobile.

The Apex Legends Mobile Thug Invitational has been announced with 16 of the best streamers from across India competing for a total prize pool of INR 2,50,000 ($3,100 USD). It is scheduled to take place from 26th to 28th August and will be exclusively livestreamed on Loco from 15:00 IST (03:00 PM) everyday.

This season of the Thug Invitational is being organized by The Esports Club and it is for the first time ever that this franchise is hosting an Apex Legends Mobile tournament, a title that is slowly picking up pace in the country.

The last season of Thug Invitational which featured BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) was quite successful, with the event securing a peak of 47,000 viewers while also attaining over 231,000 total hours watched.

This time a new title, Apex Legends Mobile, has been selected which is still in its early stages on mobile, but has proven to be a major player in the esports scene across PC and console.

Format

  • Five matches will be played on each day of the tournament, possibly all of them taking place on Kings Canyon because Worlds Edge had been temporary pulled out of rotation by the developers.

  • In total, 15 matches will be played across the three days. The team standing on top of the leaderboards at the end shall be declared as the champions of Apex Legends Mobile Thug Invitational.

Prize Pool

This season of Thug Invitational featuring Apex Legends Mobile will be featuring a total prize pool of INR 2,50,000 which will be split between the top four teams.

Livestream

Apex Legends Mobile Thug Invitational will be organized by The Esports Club and will be livestreamed exclusively on the popular Indian streaming platform Loco in multiple languages.
