Team Soul is one of the consistent teams in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and it has shown its prowess by dominating Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGMS) Season 2. The team dominated the Launch Week and League stages of BGMS Season 2 and it qualified for both the Super Weekend 1 and 2.
Recently in a livestream, S8UL Siddhant “Sid” Joshi responded to the fans about Team Soul being targeted by other teams in BGMS Season 2. Soul Amit “Amit” Dubey also responded to the issue.
Bullseye on Team Soul?
Team Soul has been performing consistently in BGMS Season 2. It has qualified for Super Weekend 1 and 2 because of its performance in the last matches of the League Week and it has looked dominant whenever put under pressure and has managed to come out on top.
In a recent livestream, Sid responded to the fans on why teams are targeting Team Soul and said, “I don’t think a particular team targeted us. Even if the other team has targeted us, I think it is part of the game and is not bad at all. Fans should stop talking about this issue. In the future, if we target a team and eliminate them you guys will praise us. In the game, if I have to eliminate a team to increase the chances of us winning I will do it. I will never have hard feelings for such things”.
Soul Amit also responded on the same issue and said, “Entity came to take advantage of the powerplay and grab 8 points. If Entity hadn’t given us the boost of 8 points in the powerplay we would not have qualified. They were also in need of points.”
On the last day of League Week 2, Team Soul had a single match and its qualification for the Super Weekend 2 was dependent on its performance from that match. Team Soul’s Sohail “Hector” Shaikh was rushed by four players from Entity and was eliminated after he was able to knock down one player from Entity. Soon after, the rest of the players from Team Soul rushed and eliminated Entity and secured 8 points in the first zone itself.
Team Soul will look to dominate BGMS Season 2 Super Weekend 2 and earn a spot in the Grand Finals of BGMS Season 2.
