Activision is all set to reveal future plans for their flagship franchise Call of Duty (COD) with the Call of Duty Next livestream. As part of the events, Activision is inviting Call of Duty: Mobile players to try out Warzone Mobile on 15th September. Several COD Mobile streamers received an invite from Activision to stream and experience the new Call of Duty Warzone: Mobile game.
Several streamers tweeted out their invites that read, “You’re invited to an exclusive event where you’ll get hands on with a new Call of Duty Warzone: Mobile experience. You’ll be able to stream and capture never before seen Call of Duty gameplay to share with your community”. The card also welcomed players into the ‘next era of Call of Duty’.
Call of Duty: Next will showcase Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2 and Warzone Mobile
Activision announced the livestream event in a blogpost on their Call of Duty website taking place on 15th September. The event will not only reveal Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer gameplay but what Activision has in store for the future of Warzone and the Warzone Mobile experience. The event will be presented by Infinity Ward.
A number of well-known streamers will also be playing the games live during the Next event.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Beta Dates
The open beta for Modern Warfare 2 will go live on 18th Sept for the Playstation and on 22nd Sept for PC and Xbox and will include crossplay. Players who pre-order will get early access to the open beta.
The Modern Warfare 2 beta features a core 6v6 experience with a variety of maps and game modes. Leaks of Modern Warfare 2 point to the ‘DMZ mode’ being inspired by Escape From Tarkov.
A Grand Prix map has been confirmed for the MW2 open beta but apart from that, fans will have to wait till the Call of Duty: Next stream.
Activision also teased a "host of other innovations and surprises" coming during the event.
