The PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) South Asia (SA) Championship 2021 featuring a $150,000 USD prize pool is all set to take place from 10th-13th June 2021. A total of 16 teams from across the region will be competing in this tournament, having made their way through various other events like PMPL South Asia S3: Finals, PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) HTM, PMCO Wildcard, and PMPL South Asia S2: Finals. Out of all the qualified teams, 7 teams are from Nepal, 3 teams from Mongolia, 3 teams from Taiwan, and a single team each from Pakistan, Hongkong, and Bangladesh.

With 16 of the best teams from across the region having valiantly fought their way to qualify for this $150,000 PUBG Mobile Regional Finals, it is bound to be a ruthless fight as every team tries to win as many chicken dinners as possible.

As many as 9 PUBG Mobile teams competing in PMPL South Asia Championship 2021 have made their way through the $55,000 USD PUBG Mobile Pro League - S3 2021: South Asia Finals (PUBG SA S3 Finals). The event had taken place earlier this year from 15th-18th April with DRS GAMING walking away as the winners of this tournament.

Apart from this 4 teams have made their way through the PUBG Mobile Club Open - Spring Split 2021: Hongkong Macau Taiwan (PMCO HTM) which took place from March 13 to April 4, featuring a total prize pool of approximately $26,274. That event was won by LIT Esports as they walk into this tournament as one of the strongest teams from Taiwan.

The PUBG Mobile Club Open - Spring Split 2021: Wildcard (PMCO Wildcard) witnessed both Astra Academy and APES INC qualify for this tournament, after having reached the grand finals of the $29,200 event.

Finally, we have Skylightz Gaming who were the champions of PUBG Mobile Pro League S2 South Asia (PMPL SA S2), who directly made it into the tournament and are one of the strongest teams from Nepal.

PUBG MOBILE Pro League (PMPL) SA Championship Season 1 is all set to kick off from 18:00 IST on 10th June and will be broadcasted live on ‘PUBG Mobile Esports’ across platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch.
