After being delayed for a day, the League of Legends: Wild Rift Patch 2.3 has finally been released. The first phase of the patch update features a new event called Broken Blades, which allows players to unlock one of the two new champions Irelia and Riven, along with a few more in-game loot. The Wild Rift Patch 2.3 update also brings a few balance changes for certain champions and runes and the ARAM mode’s return. More information about the upcoming Wild Rift Patch 2.3 update can be found here.
Irelia, the Blade Dancer
Riven, the Exile
Riven is a fighter champion with incredible mobility and play potential. Her skills “Broken Wings” and “Valor” allow her to reposition herself between fights while her “Ki Burst” will stun enemies for a brief period of time.

You can now subscribe to three of your friends and get notified whenever they are online or have recently finished a match.

Runes System Changes

The new event tasks platers into completing missions featuring Riven and Irelia, and unlock one of them for free. The Broken Blades event kicks off on June 3 at 1:01 AM (UTC).
The devs noticed Akali’s overwhelming early game presence. However, due to her high skill ceiling, most players can’t maximize her potential. Akali will receive massive tweaks to make her easier to play.

2nd Skill: Twilight Shroud
3rd Skill: Shuriken Flip

Attack Damage gained at Full Stacks: 29/43/57/71/85/99/113/127/141/155/169/183/197/211/225 → 22/30/38/46/58/70/82/94/112/130/148/166/186/206/226
The devs felt they over buffed Diana way too much. She will receive a slight nerf to prevent her from snowballing too early.
