MPL Indonesia Season 7 champions, EVOS Legends, will have to participate in the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2021 without their core player Ihsan “Luminaire” Besarik. This has been confirmed by the team’s coach Bjorn “Zeys” Ong on his livestream. Luminaire has yet to explain why he won’t be participating at the MSC 2021 - a $150,000 MLBB tournament featuring 12 of the best ML teams from SEA. Additionally, one of EVOS Legends’ members Wannn recently admitted that he is still reluctant to play in the upcoming tournament and it is unconfirmed whether or not he will be playing with the team. The squad’s coach Zeys is yet to reveal the official EVOS Legends roster for the upcoming MSC 2021.

Zeys Presents Potential EVOS Legends Roster for MSC 2021

Zeys recently announced in one of his streams that their core member Luminaire will not be participating in the upcoming MSC 2021. Trying to fill the gap left by Luminaire, Zeys presented two potential options for their lineup.

  • Gustian “Rekt” - Roamer
  • Fahmi “Rexxy” Adam Alamsyah - Mid Lane
  • Perdyansyah “Ferxic” Kamaruddin - Jungler
  • Maxhill “Antimage” Leonardo - EXP Lane
  • Hafizhan “Clover” Hidayatullah Mirzaputra - Gold Lane

Zeys stated that Rexxy, who hasn’t played with the team in a while, will be one of the team’s weaknesses. The coach also added that Mid Laner might not be the optimal role for Rexxy.

In the second option;

  • Joshua “LJ” Darmansyah - Roamer
  • Gustian “Rekt” - Mid Lane
  • Perdyansyah “Ferxic” Kamaruddin - Jungler
  • Maxhill “Antimage” Leonardo - EXP Lane
  • Hafizhan “Clover” Hidayatullah Mirzaputra - Gold Lane

Zeys stated that this lineup is pretty solid, However, this lineup doesn’t have a great hero pool.

Who is EVOS Legends Luminaire

Ihsan “Luminaire” Besarik is one of the veteran members behind the success of EVOS Legends during the M1 World Championship and the recently concluded MPL ID Season 7, where he earned the title of MVP in the grand finals. EVOS Legends along with Bigetron Alpha will represent Indonesia in the upcoming MSC 2021.

What is the MSC 2021

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) is an annual esports event featuring different teams from all over Southeast Asia. The tournament was first established in 2017 but was evidently canceled in 2020 due to the global pandemic. However, Moonton recently announced that the annual esports event is returning with a brand new online tournament format to ensure the participant’s safety.

The upcoming MSC 2021 will officially start on June 8 and will feature twelve teams from Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam, competing for the lion’s share of the $150,000 prize pool.
