Wild Rift Patch 2.2: Full Notes and Updates
The most-requested feature has finally arrived in Wild Rift.

Here are a few things to note regarding the new Position Preference feature;

  • The queue will not impact ranked progression or contribute to most event progress.
  • An event called Position Lab will be released, which will give players extra Blue Motes for each day they play using the new feature.
  • Pending the queue’s performance and player feedback, the devs will evaluate whether it’s ready to roll out to the primary ranked queue at the end of the test. If not, the devs will take it back into development for more tweaks.

All Random All Mid (ARAM) Game Mode

This new game mode will also be launch for playtesting. In ARAM, there’s one lane, and you’re given a random champ from your pool. Players can reroll for a new champion for a limited amount of tries if they want. Rerolled champions go to the “bench” where your teammates can pick them up if they wish.

In ARAM, there will be two new spells for players to use;

  • Mark/Dash: A two-part spell. Mark throws a snowball in a line, dealing damage and marking the first enemy hit. Reactivate to Dash to the enemy to instantly.
  • Clarity: Clarity is joining from the League PC lineup. Using Clarity grants a burst of mana back to you and nearby allies.

The new game mode will arrive on April 5, 2021, and will last for three days. After evaluating the game, if it works in everyone’s favor, the game will return on April 15 and will last until May 19, 2021.

Wild Pass

A new feature is added in the game allowing players to acquire in-game loots just by simply playing the game. Players can choose to upgrade their Wild Pass to obtain new rewards. Reaching Wild Pass level 50 grants players an exclusive Hexplorer Jax skin. Beyond Level 50, players can continue to earn bonus rewards like champions and skin chests.

For high-end devices, Wild Rift will now be able to run on 120 FPS. Your device may experience overheating or performance issues, so use it carefully.

New Language Support

Added official support for Brazilian Portuguese, Latin American Spanish, and Arabic.

Wild Rift Patch 2.2: Champion Changes

Alistar

Wild Rift Patch 2.2: Full Notes and Updates
A lot of champion changes are coming to Wild Rift.

The mighty cow gets a little bit of durability nerf to help enemies keep up with his tanking capabilities.

Base Stats

  • Health: 650 to 610

(1st Skill) Pulverize

  • Knock-up radius: 300 to 275
  • Damage: 60/120/180/240 to 60/110/160/210

Amumu

According to the devs, Amumu’s win rate is a little bit too much. So they are giving the sad mummy a few nerfs to keep him from having one-sided matches.

Base Stats

  • Armor: 40 to 35
  • Health per level: 105/level to 95/level

(2nd Skill) Despair

  • Damage AP Ratio: 1% per 100 AP to 0.75% per 100 AP

(Ult) Curse of the Sad Mummy

  • Cooldown: 100/85/70s to 110/95/80s

Corki

Converting physical vamp to magical vamp proved way too much for Corki. The devs have removed this ability and both vamp passives will work normally.

(Passive) Hextech Munitions

  • Corki's attacks will no longer convert physical vamp into a magic vamp and will instead behave as normal.

Darius

Darius is strong, but her ultimate can easily be canceled due to it’s skill animation being too long. The devs now made him unstoppable during cast time.

(Ult) Noxian Guillotine

  • Darius is now unstoppable during the cast time.

Dr. Mundo

Mundo’s entire presence in the game is way too much, especially if people don’t know how to counter him. The devs are nerfing him a bit to keep him fairly average.

(1st Skill) Infected Cleaver

  • Max damage vs monsters: 320/380/440/500 to 290/360/430/500

(3rd Skill) Masochism

  • Cooldown: 6/5/4/3s to 6/5.5/5/4.5s

Jhin

The god of Dragon Lane is having too much fun bullying the enemy team with his 3rd skill. The devs are nerfing him a bit to have a decent lane trading.

(3rd Skill) Captive Audience

  • Now deals 65% damage to non-champions

Orianna

The queen of mid-lane gets hit with another nerf. This time to keep his mechanical ball from dealing too much damage for a cheap cost.

Base Stats

  • Health: 570 → 530

(1st Skill) Command: Attack

  • Cooldown: 6/5/4/3s → 7.5/6/4.5/3s
  • AP ratio: 0.5 → 0.4
  • Base damage: 60/100/140/180 → 50/90/130/170

(3rd Skill) Command: Protect

  • Base damage: 60/100/140/180 → 50/90/130/170

Pantheon

Pantheon in Wild Rift proved to be too powerful. The devs will now bring him back in line with his League of Legends PC counterpart with a few bug fixes.

(1st Skill) Comet Spear

  • Mortal Will (enhanced) (1) no longer slows

(2nd Skill) Shield Vault (BUGFIX)

  • Now correctly resets attacks and empowered attacks cannot be interrupted

(3rd Skill) Aegis Assault

  • No longer blocks turret damage
  • Mortal Will (enhanced) (3) no longer has an extended duration
  • Mortal Will (enhanced) (3) now gains 60% movement speed for 1.5s when slamming shield

(Ult) Grand Starfall

  • The spear that lands before Pantheon now slows by 50% for 2s and deals Comet Spear’s damage in a small area

Teemo

A mall tweak for Teemo to reduce his escape potential.

(3rd Skill) Guerrilla Warfare

  • Camouflage channel time: 0.8s to 1s
