Geek Fam Wild Rift Roster Announced

The Geek Fam Wild Rift roster has been revealed through their social media handles on Feb. 25, 2021. The team comprises two former Mobile Legends esports pros OzaraVeki, Rumpel, former League of Legends PC pro player Nyx and two new recruits Momo and TheShang. The Geek Fam Wild Rift team has been seen participating in various local tournaments like the ESL Open Series Malaysia, where they grabbed the championship. The team is currently gearing up for the upcoming Wild Rift SEA Icon Series: Preseason. Here is a quick look at the full roster of the Geek Fam Wild Rift team.

Geek Fam Wild Rift Roster Announced

The official Geek Fam Wild Rift roster has been announced, welcoming three veteran League of Legends PC esports pros and two new faces in the esports scene. 

The team is composed of the following members;

• TheShang – Top
• Rumpel – Jungle
• OzoraVeki – Mid
• Momo – ADC
• NyX – Support

OzoraVeki was once a League of Legends esports pro who played the support role under Climax Esports. He later transitioned to Mobile Legends with Rumpel and later on, transitioned to Wild Rift. OzoraVeki will manage the Wild Rift squad and prepare them for the upcoming Wild Rift SEA Icon Series: Preseason.

Rumpel is a former MLBB esports pro in Geek Fam that transitioned to Wild Rift. He has contributed to Geek Fam’s success during the MPL MYSG Season 3 where they won the championship. Rumpel has experience as a League of Legends PC player and will use this knowledge to dominate the Wild Rift Esports scene. 

Formerly known as 13Ghost or Xiii, NyX is a retired League of Legends esports pro player from the now-disbanded Kuala Lampur Hunters. After the release of Wild Rift, his passion for the game led him to return to the esports scene as Geek Fam Wild Rift’s Support. 

The two new recruits, Momo and TheShang, currently have no competitive records. However, they are one of the earliest players in Wild Rift who reached Challenger in Malaysia.

Despite being a new team, the Geek Fam Wild Rift team has proven themselves to be formidable. It would be interesting to see how the team performs in future tournaments for Wild Rift.
