After Winter War, Call of Duty Mobile is now setting up for the release of Season 1: New Order, which is expected to go live on the servers on January 26th, 2020. Activision is releasing new weapons, a brand new map, adding a new BR mode called Blitz and class called Desperado, and a new operator skill called Gravity Vortex Gun. Here are the details of what players can expect in the new season.

Call of Duty: Mobile New Order Season 1 patch notes

Call of Duty: Mobile has been teasing new weapons that looked like FAMAS & SKS on its Twitter account for the past week now. While the SKS remains as it is, the FAMAS has been renamed to FR.556 in the new season.

A new map called Reclaim has been teased by Activision in a tweet. The map has an outdoor mall setting, now vacant and abandoned, surrounded by blockades and biohazard tents

With the new season also comes a new battle royale mode which Activision describes as “smaller zones, less time, and more action.” The mode will have close quarter combat, a faster play-zone. This will certainly make BR more challenging for players.

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 1 New Order is bringing a new class which was only teased till now. Desperado will now become available to players for completing BR missions. Complete these missions to unlock this game-changing class. Desperado deploys a Shield Turret that comes with a built-in gun that has unlimited ammo for the duration of the turret. Players can use the turret as a cover and use the gun to take down enemies. The second ability that comes with Desperado is the Last Stand. This unique ability equips you with a pistol if you are downed by an enemy and if you manage to kill someone, it will revive you.

With the first update of 2021, Activision is resetting the season counter on Call of Duty: Mobile. Does this mean we’ll see a return of other previous seasons with new themed battle passes and weapons? Only time will tell.
