Free Fire is currently seeing a surge in both India and around the world, becoming the most downloaded mobile game globally in 2020 according to AppAnnie. In India, after the PUBG Mobile ban, several esports organizations are looking at alternatives like Call of Duty: Mobile and Free Fire. Just a few days after Galaxy Racers announced their star-studded Free Fire team, Global Esports has some big news of its own. GE has signed on popular Free Fire YouTuber Abhyuday “SkyLord” Mishra as a content creator.

About SkyLord 

A former content creator for XTZ Esports and he currently has over 807K subscribers on his YouTube channel. The content creator started uploading videos on the platform just 6 months ago on 11th July 2020. Till now the streamer has racked up over 47 million views. The 21-year old doesn’t shy away from controversy, having made videos calling out Total Gaming’s Ajju Bhai and others in the Free Fire community. SkyLord has over 137k followers on Instagram and his own Discord server. Skylord was born in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh but has lived in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, since then.

In an interview to Sportskeeda, SkyLord has said that the quarantine period was a turning point in his career. “I had so much of an audience that I could influence and educate and contribute to esports' overall growth”, he said. When asked about where he sees himself in 5 years, the creator said, “I have the vision to help the community's growth rather than my development. I feel that by 2025, esports in Free Fire as well as in India would be the biggest in the whole world. I will try my best to contribute wherever and whenever in the growth of esports.”
