Pro player and streamer MortaL put up a post on Instagram announcing that ‘something (was) coming up with @ujjwalgamer’. The graphic shows the Call of Duty: Mobile logo and operators, indicating that the duo will have a showdown in the game. The match or matches will be played on 17th December 2020 at 8 PM, probably as a joint stream on both Techno Gamerz and MortaL’s YouTube channels.

MortaL also mentioned in the Instagram post that he would be giving away 15,000 Call of Duty: Mobile CP points to 10 lucky winners. To enter the giveaway, players will have to leave a comment on the post explaining who out of Techno Gamerz and MortaL do they think will win and why. Several commenters have already made up their minds and sided with MortaL but only time will tell who really walks away with the win.

Rise Of Ujjwal “Techno Gamerz” Chaurasia

Ujjwal Chaurasia, who is managed by India’s cloud-based, self-serving influencer marketing platform OpraahFx, created the channel in August 2017 when he was in 11th standard. Ujjwal crossed the milestone of becoming one of the few Indian gamers who have more than 10 million subscribers on his YouTube channel Techno Gamerz in just a short span of three years. According to SocialBlade, Techno Gamerz is in the top 500 most subscribed channels on YouTube with 11.5 million subscribers and over 2 billion views

Ujjwal usually streams single-player games on his channel like Minecraft, Red Dead Redemption 2 and is currently streaming Cyberpunk 2077 and GTA V RP. The streamer has also played mobile games like PUBG Mobile Lite and Call of Duty: Mobile.  

What Has MortaL Been Upto Since The PUBG Mobile Ban?

After the PUBG Mobile ban, MortaL, one of India’s most beloved players, announced his future plans regarding esports in November. On his stream, MortaL stated that he will not be immediately making a return to playing competitive PUBG Mobile when the game makes it return. He also announced that he was stepping down as the IGL of Team SouL to become a mentor for the team. Since the PUBG Mobile ban, the streamer has switched to games like VALORANT, Among Us, Call Of Duty: Mobile and single-player games like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
