Free Fire Maintenance To Happen Today For Operation Chrono Update

With 7th December comes the much-awaited Operation Chrono. Free Fire gets ready to release two new heroes called Chrono and Snowelle as well as the Vector and a new Baboob Pet. For the launch of Operation Chrono, Garena servers will be done for some time today. The maintenance patch will take approximately 8 hours. The maintenance update will begin at 9:30 am and the servers will go live at 5:15 pm (IST). During this time, players will not be able to enter the game but they can continue playing as usual and experience the new patch as soon as they update. Other new features include an updated Training Map and Vector Akimbo. 

What To Expect In Operation Chrono Update?

Famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is on his way into Free Fire with this update and upcoming character ‘Chrono’ will be based on his likeness. He is a bounty hunter capable of benting time and space to give protection and dexterity to himself. Similar to Alok and K character, he comes with an active skill called “Time Turner,” making him the third character to have an active skill in Free Fire. 

Chrono’s “Time Turner” special ability allows him to cast a force field that blocks incoming damage from enemies and buff him and his allies inside the shield’s range with increased movement speed.

Along with Chrono a character called Snowelle is also going to be introduced this update. A nanotech expert, she possesses an active skill called Nano Nerves. When Activated, enemies who get shot by her will not be able to use their active skills or heal themselves by converting EP to HP. This is a perfect counter for Alok and K since they rely on their active skills to dominate in the battlefield. 

Players can also participate in Operation Chrono and earn rewards. This is currently active right now, players will not have to wait for the maintenance update. To complete the jigsaw puzzle of Operation Chrono, players will need to exchange pieces using codes. Each code is equivalent to a different puzzle piece. Players can gift a friend with a code they already have or can ask a friend for a code getting all the jigsaw codes. Alternatively, the codes can be obtained by visiting Free Fire’s official social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook, etc. Make sure to collect all the 5 codes for a chance to input the ambassador’s name and win the Cyber Swing Baseball bat.
