Team Secret Creates Secret Jin To Compete In PMPL SEA Finals

  • Team Secret divests their Thai roster and forms the new Secret Jin with a partner.

  • Team Secret won both PMPL MY/SG and Thailand but the organisation could not field two teams into the Finals.

  • Secret Jin still has all the old players from Team Secret TH with the exception of MrSky.

After Team Secret success in the recently concluded PMPL MY/SG and Thailand, the organisation has decided to divest and create a new team called Secret Jin to compete in the PUBG Mobile Grand Finals. Due to the rules of the tournament, Team Secret couldn't field 2 teams in the competition. Due to this conflict, the organisation decided to divest ownership of their PUBG Mobile Thailand team effective immediately and partner with Jin's Coffee. This led to the withdrawal of the PUBG Mobile Thailand team from the tournament. The team still retains many of the players from the Team Secret TH team including Kengzo, Cosmoss, Twokay and GZ. Team Secret will continue to assist Secret Jin and support the new ownership.

Team Secret’s Recent Success In PMPL

PUBG Mobile Thailand squad, qualified for the Thailand Pro League Finals after a rocky start in the group stages and ended up winning PMPL Thailand with 189 points in total in the 15 matches of the Finals. KENGZO was named MVP. As a result, the team bagged $15,815 in winnings. Team Secret TH put up a consistent performance and managed to get 4 Chicken Dinners and picked up 102 Placement Points and 87 Kill Points.

Team Secret TH won PMPL Thailand

Team Secret also emerged victorious in the PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) Malaysia/ Singapore Fall Split 2020 and walked away with $15,000. The team picked up 4 Chicken Dinners and finished in Top 5 during 8 of the 18 Finals matches. As a result, the team picked up a total of 232 points (120 Placement Points and 112 Kill Points). Since Team Secret and Yoodo Gank have qualified for the SEA Fall Finals as winners of PMPL MYSG Regular Season and PMPL SEA Spring Champions respectively, their slots have been given to the next best performing teams, Team SMG and Geek Fam.

BiuBiu’s Departure 

Team Secret and their PUBG Mobile MY Captain BiuBiu decided to part ways at the end of September. 

BiuBiu started off playing in community tournaments under Genexsus in 2019, and later during his run at Team Secret championed the team, qualifying for major tournaments, and winning the top trophy in the PUBG Mobile MYSG League. Helping the team win the PUBG Mobile Pro League - Fall Split 2020: MYSG Finals was his latest accomplishment. BiuBiu will continue livestreaming and creating content for YouTube.
