Bigetron Win, But Not Without a Struggle

Bigetron’s win, although impressive, certainly showed that the rest of the teams are catching up to the two time world champions. The team won the season 1 league with a massive 400 point lead, which they now wsee whittled down to just 61. The team also had some tough weeks finishing outside the top 5 on two occasions. The defending champions ended the league stage with 12 chicken dinners, the highest in the competition along with RRQ Ryu. Bigetron’s former second squad, ION Esports, who are no longer part of the organization had an impressive run in PMPL Season 2 debut. Although the team has veteran players in the form of Redfacen, Liquid and Hijrah, the team have shown that they have the potential to challenge BTR, especially within Indonesia. With 138 kills to his name, ION’s Redfacen was the MVP for the PMPL ID Season 2 League stage. Staying true to their consistent nature, three of the four Bigetron players finished in the top 10 list of highest fraggers in the league stage.

The only other Indonesian team to have played in the PUBG Mobile World League Season Zero were Morph Team. While they struggled against international competition and crashed out in the league stage itself, in the PMPL, they managed a solid 5th place finish. While it is not as good as their second place finish from season 1, the level of competition has certainly gone up.
